Puppynapped - U.K dog theft!

Nov 16, 2020 - BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Puppies in the U.K are being stolen!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the illegal puppy trade has skyrocketed. Most people have been lonely at home, so they've stolen many pets. It's also possible that puppy traders are stealing the puppies to sell off to people in search of one. Unlucky dog owners have been victims of these intolerable crimes. We think that puppy traders have found it easier to steal dogs because there is no one on the streets, but we aren't professionals. But anyone can see that the stolen dogs must be returned immediately!

In July, Jessica Palmer had five puppies stolen from her back garden. The sprocket spaniels were from a litter of seven that Ms. Palmer's springer spaniel had given birth to eight weeks earlier. She was devastated and her three-year-old daughter was heartbroken. The puppies were put out for sale, at £1,000 each. She knew that the puppies were going to be gone, but she never thought that they would be stolen.

Many dogs have been stolen during the pandemic.

In May, Jon Gaunt had three female springer spaniels stolen from his garden. It wasn't until the next morning he saw that they were gone. He felt angry and upset. Thankfully, one of his spaniels was found several weeks later. He thinks that there is a connection between the pandemic and the theft.

But there is hope. People are searching for missing dogs and bringing them to a safe place. If you spot a lost dog, don't wait! Do your best to return it to its owner!

P.S. Are you looking for a dog? Say no to puppy mills! While they are legal, they don't always keep regulations!
