How to Host A Party for a Pet!

Dog Birthday party!

  • Dogs can't have chocolate or cake, so you must find another crowning feature. But we've got you covered! Check out our dog cake recipe below! The best part is, owners can eat it too!

Ingredients:

Cake

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup applesauce

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 egg

Frosting

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

  • Instructions


cake:

  • Preheat oven to 350 f.

  • In a bowl, combine flour and baking soda.

  • In another bowl, combine vegetable oil, peanut butter, applesauce and pumpkin puree. After mixing, add and mix the egg.

  • Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir.

  • Pour mixture into an 8" round pan (a square pan can also be used) that has been greased with oil.

  • Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes.

  • Allow to cool and add frosting. Recipe can be doubled to make a layer cake.


Frosting:

  • mix peanut butter and greek yogurt together. Spread on top of cake. Sprinkle some mini dog treats on the top, the side, and the bottom. VĂ“ila!
